Dear Colleagues,

Based on feedback from the Employee Satisfaction Survey, it is clear that employees have a lot of great ideas about how we can work better together and improve our workplace.

We are pleased to announce that you are now able to formally provide these valuable recommendations through a new program called Bright Ideas.

Through Bright Ideas, employees of the Johns Hopkins Hospital/Health System Corporation have the opportunity to be recognized and rewarded for ideas that improve efficiency, safety, productivity and eliminate waste in the workplace. Ideas can be submitted online at www.hopkinsmedicine.org/service/brightideas or placed in one of many Bright Ideas boxes located throughout our facilities.

Senior management will review all ideas submitted on an ongoing basis. Employees whose ideas are considered to have the highest likelihood of being implemented and affecting change will be rewarded a $25 gift certificate to a Hopkins-related business and publicly recognized on the web site and through other employee communications.

We look forward to leveraging your creativity and problem-solving talent through the Bright Ideas program as we strive to become one of the best places to work in America.

Submit your Bright Ideas and continue to Make Your Mark!

Sincerely,

Pamela D. Paulk
