Dear Colleagues:

After almost five years as executive program director for the HopkinsOne project, Steve Golding has announced that he will be will be returning to the School of Medicine, where he will assume an expanded finance role.  In his new position, Steve will report to Rich Grossi, chief financial officer for Johns Hopkins Medicine

Steve’s transition back to the School of Medicine coincides with completion of the go-live of the HopkinsOne core functions.  Since the HopkinsOne project continues with post go-live support and the Upgrade/Extended Functionality phase, Steve will continue to lead the project until a successor is selected.

Effective immediately, we will be actively recruiting a new executive program director, with the position title senior director of business systems.  The person filling this position, which has just been posted within both the Johns Hopkins University and the Johns Hopkins Health System, will not only lead the HopkinsOne project through the next phase, but will be now be responsible for the stabilization and ongoing support and maintenance of the current system, continuing in the support and maintenance leadership role after completion of the project.  The new position will now report to Stephanie Reel, chief information officer.

We will continue to do our utmost to help the user community through the transition to our new system, and we will work very hard to build a support organization that will provide the best service possible.

James McGill, Co-Chair HopkinsOne Project
Stephanie Reel, Chief Information Officer
Ron Werthman, Co-Chair HopkinsOne Project
