Important changes to JHHS Human Resources Infrastructure

Dear Colleagues,

Last weekend, the Johns Hopkins Health System Human Resources central office completed its move to Eastern High School. This shift marks the next phase of the realignment of Human Resources services across the entire Health System. With the aim to consolidate staffing and better serve employees across the system, we are now setting up a corporate office and transitioning central functions into it from the entities. Several central office jobs are posted and all of these new positions will be created by the realignment of existing Human Resource's staff.

It is my pleasure to announce the first such realignment: Bonnie Windsor, Senior Director of Human Resources, who is now responsible for day-to-day Human Resources functions for The Johns Hopkins Hospital and Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation Human Resources. She is well-qualified for this role; Bonnie has been with Johns Hopkins for 32 years. She began her career here as a nurse in the PICU and moved up through the nursing structure as a Shift Coordinator and then as Associate Director of Nursing for Pediatrics. She was later asked to lead the newly formed Intrastaff, which she still directs to this day. For the last 20 years, Bonnie has done a remarkable job and has assumed increased responsibilities including; oversight of Career Services and Johns Hopkins Human Resources Group. In addition to her work at Johns Hopkins, Bonnie is also quite active in a number of state and local organizations such as the Governor's Workforce Investment Board, which works to align Maryland's economic and educational goals to a nationally-recognized workforce development system. Another organization is the Susanna Wesley House that serves as a home for women/children in need of new beginnings.

In her new role, Bonnie will lead: Employee Relations, Organizational Development and Training for The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation, Johns Hopkins HealthCare, Johns Hopkins Community Physicians and Johns Hopkins International, and she will continue to oversee Intrastaff. She will also continue to manage Career Services until the new corporate recruitment leader is named.

Please join me in congratulating Bonnie and offering her your full support.

Pamela Paulk
Sr. Vice President, Human Resources
Johns Hopkins Medicine
