Oct. 20, 2014: Pledge Your Gift to Our United Way Campaign

Dear Colleagues,

Johns Hopkins Medicine launches its United Way campaign today, and we once again look to you to continue your generous support of this organization that assists so many individuals and families in need. This year's theme, Changing the Odds for Families and Communities, reminds us that we can make a difference in the lives of those in our community who struggle to meet the most basic needs we often take for granted.

Your gift to United Way of the National Capital Area is one of the most powerful ways to generate the most impact and can help solve critical community issues. We are supporting long-term strategies to create a region where individuals and families have a place to call home, are financially stable, and have access to quality and affordable health care, and where students succeed in school.

Please help us do our part to help United Way of the National Capital Area, their impact partners, and dozens of health and human service organizations that need our monetary contributions to continue this important work. Our goal this year is $1.66 million. Given your phenomenal response to previous campaigns and your commitment to helping others, we are confident that we will achieve this goal. Remember that you can direct your gift to United Way of the National Capital Area or to any health and human service organization of your choosing.

We believe strongly in our commitment to the community. Your gift to United Way of the National Capital Area can help.

Visit the Johns Hopkins Medicine United Way Campaign website to stay informed about campaign activities and to track our progress.

Thank you for your support of the 2014 United Way Campaign.
