Calling All Opinions

To Johns Hopkins Hospital employees

Dear Colleagues,

The Johns Hopkins Hospital is dedicated to ensuring that our workforce is engaged and committed to our mission and continued success. We know through research that employee engagement drives business outcomes, productivity, and patient care and safety.

Thank you to the 54 percent of you who have already taken the 2017 Employee Engagement Survey, which continues through Sunday, March 26. There are still a few more days to participate. I ask that you please set aside 10 minutes to voice your opinions, which are vitally important to us.

As you may know, the hospital saw an increase in its average score from the 2015 to the 2016 Employee Engagement Survey. The Johns Hopkins Hospital and Health System Corporation's GrandMean score of 4.03 is an increase of 0.8 from the previous year, and we need your feedback to make an even greater improvement this year.

You should have received a formal invitation from Gallup to take the survey and a randomly selected, unique-to-you code to access the survey online. You can also complete the survey using a single sign-on via the Johns Hopkins portal. Visit login.johnshopkins.edu/gallupsurvey, or log on to my.jh.edu, hover over the HR icon on the left side of the page and select the Gallup Survey icon.

We want you to know that we value your contributions to The Johns Hopkins Hospital and appreciate the important role you play. Your opinions matter! Help us build a better Johns Hopkins for you and the patients we serve.

Sincerely,

Redonda G. Miller, M.D., M.B.A.
President, The Johns Hopkins Hospital
