Share Your Thoughts About Your Workplace in the 2017 Employee Engagement Survey

To employees of the Johns Hopkins Health System

Dear Colleagues,

A positive work environment is the foundation of an engaged workforce. High engagement in employees is reflected in the way they carry out their job responsibilities, interact with colleagues and care for our patients.

One way we assess our work environment is through the Johns Hopkins Employee Engagement Survey. All Johns Hopkins Health System employees are invited—and encouraged—to participate in this year’s survey, which begins today, Monday, March 6, and continues through Sunday, March 26. Gallup will email you a formal invitation to take the survey, along with your personal, randomly selected code that you will use to access the survey. We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to confidentially have your voice heard.

Departments across the health system will receive their results in late spring. The conversations you have with colleagues on your team about the results give your work group a chance to talk about where you thrive and how you can build on any areas that require improvement.

Investing in our employees is our highest priority. When you receive the survey invitation, please take just 10 minutes to share your opinions so we can use your feedback to build a more engaged Johns Hopkins for you and the patients we serve.

Sincerely,

Paul B. Rothman
Dean of the Medical Faculty
CEO, Johns Hopkins Medicine

Ronald R. Peterson
President, Johns Hopkins Health System
EVP, Johns Hopkins Medicine
