Can We Count on You to Help Us Fight Heart Disease and Stroke?

To employees of The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation, Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine

Dear Colleagues,

Research and education are our most powerful weapons in the fight against heart disease and stroke, which are the two leading causes of death worldwide. We are grateful for the support of organizations such as the American Heart Association (AHA) to help us prevent, improve the diagnosis of and innovate treatment for these diseases.

On behalf of the AHA and Johns Hopkins Medicine, we invite you to join the fight against cardiovascular disease by supporting the 2018 Greater Maryland Heart Walk, which will take place on Saturday, Oct. 13, at Camden Yards Sports Complex in Baltimore.

This year's fundraising goal is $108,500, and we are aiming for 132 teams. Can we count on your enthusiasm and dedication to help us achieve those goals?

Here's what you can do:

If you have any questions, please contact our representative, Katie Remenapp, at katie.remenapp@heart.org. Be sure to visit hopkinsmedicine.org/heartwalk for health information, activities and events related to the Heart Walk.

In appreciation,
Johns Hopkins Medicine's Executive Champions for the Heart Walk
