The nominations have been judged, and Johns Hopkins Hospital has been selected as one of three finalists in the large organization category of the Key Innovator in Healthcare contest sponsored by Elsevier Inc, a world-leading provider of scientific, technical and medical information products. Johns Hopkins was selected based on work led by Dr. Adam Kaplin, Assistant Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Neurology, to invent and develop Mood 24/7, a web-based program (mood247.com) that utilizes daily cell phone SMS texting coupled to an online web platform to automatically and accurately track patients’ mental health.
