Title | Johns Hopkins Home Care Group Named as a Top Agency of the 2014 HomeCare Elite |
Sponsor | JHM |
Details | Johns Hopkins Home Care Group today announced that it has once again been named a top Agency of HomeCare Elite™ for 2014, a recognition of the top-performing home health agencies in the United States. Now in its ninth year, the HomeCare Elite identifies the top 25 percent of Medicare-certified agencies. Winners are ranked by an analysis of publicly available performance measures in quality outcomes, best practice (process measure) implementation, patient experience (Home Health CAHPS®), quality improvement and consistency, and financial performance.
Kim Carl, director of Johns Hopkins Home Health Services credits her executive leadership, management and staff’s steadfast focus on high quality patient care, continuous performance improvement and service excellence. The agency’s ability to achieve recognition for a second year as one of the HomeCare Elite is very rewarding; especially during a time over the past eighteen months in which we significantly increased staffing by 48 percent to meet the growing needs of our health system and affiliates, says Mary Myers, vice president and chief operating officer of Johns Hopkins Home Care Group.. |
