JHU Forum on Race in America Film Screening: "Rocio"
o Description: Come watch the film Rocio, a documentary about a mother's love and the American Dream by Dario Guerrero, an alumnus of the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth Scholars Program. The screening, part of the Johns Hopkins Race in America series, is co-sponsored by the Office of the Provost and the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth. A Q&A with Guerrero led by Dr. Jonathan Plucker, a professor of Talent Development at the Johns Hopkins School of Education, follows.

Heritage 365 Speaker Series: Felipe Luciano
o Description: Join us to hear from Felipe Luciano, winner of two Emmy awards. This former WNBC-TV news anchor defied adversity early in life. Born in New York City and raised by a single Puerto Rican mother, he became involved with gangs at the age of 13 and by the age of sixteen was sent to prison for attempted manslaughter. He now dedicates himself to social justice work.
